For one of our clients we’re hiring for a technical hands-on leader of a DevSecOps team
with a strong background in software development, security, and operations, with a
passion for implementing best practices and innovative solutions. You will be not only a
people manager, but you must have hands-on DevSecOps experience at the senior
level.
You will work closely with our development and operations teams to ensure the secure
and efficient deployment of our applications and infrastructure. You will provide
technical leadership to build, motivate, guide, scale, and mentor team members
including performance management coaching. You will perform the role of the technical
leader combined with the ability to fullfil the role of a Senior DevSecOps Engineer. You
will collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and prioritize
security requirements and integrate them into the software development lifecycle. You
will implement and maintain security tools, processes, and best practices to ensure the
confidentiality, integrity, and availability of our applications and infrastructure. You will
identify, evaluate, and implement tools and technologies to drive automation and
optimization of version control, configuration management and CI/CD processes. You
will provide guidance and training to team members on secure coding practices, threat
modeling, and risk management. You will collaborate with development teams to
understand requirements, propose changes, and gain alignment to drive continuous
improvement and automation into the SCM and CI/CD processes. You will participate in
incident response and post-mortem analysis to identify root causes and implement
corrective actions. You will identify and mitigate technical risks, addressing any issues
or bottlenecks that may impact project timelines or software quality.
